Facebook Frenzy - a rebirth of sorts

Ok - I just updated my Facebook in what looks like since 2007 and my head is still spinning! - I like to tell people that when i first joined - there was nobody there and I got bored. That was my way of getting around why I never logged on. I guess I looked around and noticed how much time people were spending on it and was worried it would occupy too much of my web-surfing time....

Once I figured out what password I used back then and signed in - I got bombarded by 742 friend requests! ( ok - I am taking certain creative liberties - but I did think there were a bunch). Most were from people that I know or have lost touch and look forward to finding out "Whaz up?!. Some, er..., perhaps not so much - but it is pretty neat how this site is one big conference call where everyone gets to know how are things.

So what do I do now when I run into them while trying on $15.00 jeans at Urban Planet? What do you say? "I thought that post on eating your sundae on Sunday was clever?" or is there some nowingly secret nod when Facebookers meet - that means " Yeah - I already know"

Now if I can figure out a way to let everyone know how I am doing at once...
